Two bedrooms are fully enclosed with A/C and ensuite bathrooms, while the third is a breezy semi-open but screened in room nestled among the trees, offering a more natural, immersive experience.

Four beautifully situated cafés nearby each offer curated breakfast options. Rotate spots each morning to explore different corners of the island while supporting local island businesses. Most dietary needs can be accommodated.

3. Concierge support at no extra cost
We help arrange tours, boat trips, surf lessons, chocolate farm visits, and restaurant reservations with trusted local guides. You’ll also receive a digital guidebook plus a printed copy in the villa.

4. Thoughtfully stocked
Beach towels, surfboards, snorkel gear, beach bag, yoga mats, reusable water bottles, umbrella, hotel-quality linens, ceiling fans, A/C in two bedrooms, well-stocked coffee station with local roast, eco-friendly toiletries, and a fairly priced mini-bar ensure an easy, comfortable stay.

5. Light housekeeping

We want every guest to love their stay. To help you decide if this apartment is the right fit, here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Location, convenience & island atmosphere
One of the most loved aspects of Casa de Mono is its location — perfectly positioned between Bocas Town and some of the island’s best beaches. Restaurants, a popular beach bar with a swimming pool, and other amenities are all within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy food, drinks, swimming, and surf without needing transport.

With this convenience comes a naturally lively setting. You may hear music from across the road (mainly on weekends or during special events), along with everyday neighbourhood activity and the general rhythm of island life. As there is also an apartment directly below, sound can occasionally carry between units, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of noise, especially in the early mornings and late evenings. Parties and loud music are not permitted. Most guests love the balance of energy, convenience, and Caribbean charm, but if you are looking for a completely silent, secluded retreat, this apartment may not be the right fit.

2. Apartment layout & shared spaces
This is a 3-bedroom apartment within a larger villa. Two bedrooms are fully enclosed with A/C and ensuite bathrooms. The third bedroom is semi-open, screened with mosquito netting, and does not have a door or A/C, but is elevated among the trees and naturally breezy with a fan. This room shares a bathroom with one of the other bedrooms.

The living, dining, and kitchen areas are fully screened rather than enclosed, creating a beautiful indoor-outdoor experience connected to nature.

3. Spacious & family-friendly
The apartment works well for families, groups of friends, or couples travelling together. We can provide an additional single or double bed and a crib on request for a $20 per night surcharge per extra bed. Child safety gates are available at the staircase. Please let us know in advance for any special arrangements.

4. Jungle living
You’ll be surrounded by lush gardens and wildlife. Geckos, butterflies, birds, and occasional insects are part of daily life here. All bedrooms are screened or enclosed, and we provide fans and A/C in key areas for comfort. If you are sensitive to insects or nature sounds, this may not be the ideal stay.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 30 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 24 hours away at time of booking.
